Development Direction

 

The Department has set the following areas to focus on for future development:

(1)  Health Biotechnology includes the research and development of nanometerization of foods and medicines, the solid liposome particle, functional foods, anti-ageing, and health management related foods.

(2)  Microbial Biotechnology includes the research and development of food microbiology, bioremediation technology, bio-agent, biosensor, the design of nucleic acid probe based on bioinformation, the analytical technology of genetic diversity, green material, and the recycling of agricultural waste.
